Zarozotina, Zarezojlo, Trivundan – these are all names for Orthodox Christian holiday celebrated on 14th February in the honor of Saint Trifun. Saint Trifun is saint protector of wine and vineyards. Men gather and go to vineyard to circumcise grape vines and spill last year’s wine over it. People believe that this will bring back the strength to the vineyard after a long winter.
